Matt Zollers, Spring-Ford

Junior quarterback Matt Zollers broke several school records at Spring-Ford this year, compiling 37 touchdown passes and 2,917 passing yards in his junior season.

“Matt took a big step in his development between his sophomore and junior year, and I’m fully confident he will do the same this offseason,” said Spring-Ford coach Chad Brubaker. “In addition to his physical abilities, what separates him from others is his football IQ; his aptitude to see the field and understand and execute what we are trying to do offensively.”

Coach of the Year

Scott Reed, Pope John Paul II

In his second year at the helm, Reed guided the Golden Panthers to a 12-1 finish and the first PAC championship in school history – doubling as the first title for a Frontier Division school since the start of the two-division system in 2016.

The Golden Panthers also claimed the school’s second District 1 title, dominating their two District playoff games by a combined score of 77-14.
