Mercury roundup (Sept. 23): Perkiomen Valley boys soccer improves to 10-0 with shutout of Methacton

Behind three first-half goals, the Vikings cruised to a shutout win over the Warriors in PAC Liberty action, improving to a 10-0 record on the season. Christian Campbell scored twice while Nate Brown and Sean Schoeniger (assist) added a goal apiece.

Lawson Finger and Brandon Chapkovich both tallied an assist. Cole Webb (five saves) and Jason Lugo-Munoz (three saves) rotated net duties for Methacton while Aidan Autovino (two saves), Gavin Moser (two saves) and Jake Raudabaugh (two saves) shared the net for Perkiomen Valley. The Vikings outshot the Warriors 12-6 and held a 3-0 advantage in corners.

Daniel Boone 2, Garden Spot 0

Aaron Winters and Kyle Berdick scored a goal apiece in the first half for the Blazers in a shutout win over Garden Spot. Andy Schneider tallied an assist while Tucker Griffin provided six saves for the clean sheet.
