Coach of the Year

Joe Dempsey, Spring-Ford

In his second year at Spring-Ford, Dempsey, alongside assistant coaches GT Pufko, Jim Sheedy
and Michael Allerton, guided the Rams to their first Pioneer Athletic Conference title since 2015-
16, the program’s first District 1 final appearance ever and the PIAA Class 6A semifinals. Prior to
this past season, Spring-Ford had never made it past the second round of the state tournament.
