Reporter/Times Herald Girls Soccer Roundup: Pennridge, CB West stay perfect with SOL Colonial wins
Pennridge 5, Central Bucks South 1 >> Tori Angelo had two goals, finding the back of net once in each half, as Pennridge stayed undefeated by rolling to an SOL Colonial Division victory Tuesday.
Angelo scored the game’s opening goal with Sophie Craig giving the Rams (5-0-0, 4-0-0) a 2-0 advantage. CB South (0-4-1, 0-4-1) pulled within 2-1 but Leah Malone’s tally put Pennridge up 3-1 at halftime.
Angelo added the next goal for her brace while Riley Hepler recorded the fifth goal for the Rams, who claimed a fifth consecutive win over the Titans.
Central Bucks West 4, Souderton 2 >> Central Bucks West kept its perfect record intact with a win in the SOL Colonial contest, taking a 2-0 lead at halftime and extending it to 3-0 before Souderton’s Katie Pazdziorko struck on a shot from just outside the 18-yard box.
The Bucks (4-0-0, 4-0-0) answered on a breakaway to regain the three-goal edge. Hannah Alderfer added a second goal for the Indians (2-3-0, 2-3-0) after an Avery Nogami chance was deflected.
Central Bucks East 2, North Penn 0 >> Central Bucks East scored both goals in the first half and posted its second shutout of the season in improving to 3-2-0 (3-2-0 SOL Colonial). North Penn dropped to 0-4-1 (0-4-1 SOL Colonial).
