Phoenixville 41, Pope John Paul II 38 (box score)
Highlights: The balanced Phantoms dealt the Golden Panthers their first PAC Frontier loss of the year Wednesday. Jamie Michaud scored four of her eight points in the final quarter as Phoenixville (4-2, 5-10) held off PJP (6-1, 7-8), which was without top scorer Tess Crossan. Kira O’Donnell added eight for the Phantoms. Katie Nilles netted a game-high 14 for PJP.
Upper Perkiomen 57, Pottstown 37 (box score)
Highlights: Freshman Grace Galbavy registered an impressive triple-double with 20 points, 15 rebounds and 11 blocks in Upper Perk’s PAC Frontier win. Erin States scored a game-high 22 and pulled down 10 rebounds. PAC leading scorer Trinell Watson scored 21 for the Trojans.
Spring-Ford 58, Boyertown 26 (box score)
Highlights: The Rams burst out to a big early lead, then built on it the rest of the way en route to victory over the Bears in PAC Liberty Division play.
With Anna Azzara hitting for a game-high 13 points — the biggest of three double-figure scorers — Spring-Ford turned a 20-1 first-quarter lead into a 34-7 halftime advantage.
Perkiomen Valley 64, Norristown 31 (box score)
Highlights: The Miley sisters led the Vikings (12-3, 7-2) defeated the Eagles in their PAC Liberty Division game.
Grace was leading scorer for PV (7-2, 12-3) with 12 points followed closely by Emma with 11. Norristown’s leading scorer was Saityiana Evans who had 10 points for the Lady Eagles.
Methacton 43, Owen J. Roberts 23 (box score)
The stifling Warriors defense allowed the Wildcats just 12 points through three quarters and eased to a PAC Liberty win Tuesday. Nicole Timko’s 13 points were a game-high while Mairi Smith recorded a double-double with 10 points, 14 rebounds and four blocks for Methacton (7-0, 10-0, 15-1)
Upper Merion 44, Pottsgrove 39 (box score)
Highlights: Devon Maiden (15) and Riley Anderson (19) combined for 34 points through three quarters as Upper Merion built a big lead and kept its distance late in a PAC Frontier win. Mikayla Eckman had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds for Pottsgrove.
Boys Basketball
Pottstown 63, Upper Perkiomen 55 (box score)
Highlights: Gage Sibley claimed a share of game scoring honors for the Trojans as they rallied in the fourth quarter for victory over the Indians in their PAC Frontier Division pairing.
Sibley tied UP’s Kyle Clancy in scoring at 23 points. With Sadeeq Jackson kicking in another 10, the hosts used a 26-17 scoring edge down the stretch to erase UP’s tenuous 38-37 lead.
Methacton 59, Owen J. Roberts 36 (box score)
Highlights: Methacton (17-0) had a strong showing from seniors Brett Byrne and Cole Hargrove on the Senior Night win over Owen J. Roberts 59 -36.
Cole Hargrove led all scorers with 27 points and Brett Byrne added 16 with four treys.
Upper Merion 71, Pottsgrove 64 (box score)
Higlhights: Ty Jones’ 24 points paved the way for the Vikings in Tuesday’s PAC Frontier win.
Norristown 39, Perkiomen Valley 38 (box score)
Highlights: After building a 36-26 lead after three quarters, the Eagles had to hold on in the fourth. D.J. Johnson had 14 points.
Spring-Ford 39, Boyertown 38 (box score)
Highlights: Gavin Schauder nailed the go-ahead three with 30 seconds left, and the Ram’ defense held on for the win.

Methacton 98, Phoenixville 73
Highlights: Tommy Gibbs and Christopher Groff combined to score five wins for the Warriors in their PAC meet with the Phantoms.
Groff took the 200 free and 100 free while swimming a leg of Methacton’s first-place 200 free relay. Gibbs, in turn, won the 200 IM and 100 fly along with doing a leg of his team’s winning 200 medley relay.

Highlights: Even while Kenzie Padilla and Maddy Deeney were producing multiple wins, the Phantoms fell short of the Warriors in Tuesday’s PAC meet.
Padilla’s firsts were in the 200 free and 500 free, with Deeney’s coming in the 200 IM and 100 breast; they also swam legs on Phoenixville’s winning 200 medley relay. Winning individual events for Methacton were Hannah Taylor (50 free), Truly Sommer (100 fly), Keira Halfpenney (diving) and Amanda Tsai (100 back).
