Co-Coaches of the Year
Mickey McDaniel, Spring-Ford & John Russo, Perkiomen Valley
McDaniel’s Spring-Ford and Russo’s Perkiomen Valley significantly exceeded preseason expectations this winter. Under McDaniel’s leadership Spring-Ford, which had four sophomores in its starting lineup, won a fifth straight Pioneer Athletic Conference championship, reached the District 1-6A final and advanced to the PIAA 6A quarterfinals in a 25-7 campaign. Russo, in his second year at the helm, guided Perk Valley to the PAC championship game, 23-8.
