Blair, Haverford get back in the win column

In the Central League:

Haverford 41, Strath Haven 29 >> Brianna Blair did plenty of damage for the Fords, who jumped out to a 14-4 lead after the first quarter. Blair had 14 points and 13 rebounds as the Fords (4-7) notched their second league victory. Erin Doherty netted seven points.

Cayden Frazier finished with a team-high 10 points for the Panthers.

Elsewhere in the Central League:

Radnor 51, Ridley 38 >> Allison Lanzone erupted for 10 of her game-high 21 points in the third quarter to put the Raiders on the way to their sixth consecutive win. Nicole Massimino scored 12 points and Ellie Mueller chipped in 11 for Radnor (6-2, 5-1)

Izzy Hamlin’s 15-point effort guided Ridley in defeat. Hailee Mayer and Dana D’Ambrosio netted six points apiece.

Springfield 57, Upper Darby 20 >> Twelve players found the scoring column for the streaking Cougars (9-1, 5-1), who shot 15 for 21 at the foul line and held the host Royals scoreless in the first quarter.

Maggie O’Connell netted 11 points and Jordan D’Ambrosio scored nine in the winning effort.

Emma Blewett had a productive night for the Royals, scoring a game-high 14 points, while knocking down a trio of 3-point baskets.

Garnet Valley 60, Penncrest 33 >> The Jaguars are proving once again they are the team to beat in the Central League.

Led by Emily McAteer’s 21 points, the Jaguars improved to 9-0 overall and 6-0 in conference play with their rout of the Lions (7-3), who have dropped three straight decisions. Brianne Borcky contributed eight points and six rebounds, while Allison Tomasetti and Katherine Eckhoff (four points) each dished three assists.

Megan Arndt paced Penncrest with 10 points and Katie Russo had eight.

Conestoga 51, Marple Newtown 35 >> The host Pioneers broke the game open in the second quarter with a 15-4 run. Devon Adams scored 15 points to lead the Tigers (5-5, 2-4) and Natalie Ayoub added eight.

In the Catholic League:

Cardinal O’Hara 64, Bishop McDevitt 26 >> One night after becoming the 12th O’Hara girls basketball player to score her 1,000th career point, Mary Sheehan registered a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds. Hannah Nihill finished with 10 points, seven assists and four steals, while Kenzie Gardler poured in 14 points for the Lions (7-2). Maura Hendrixson contributed six points and five steals and Erin Welde tossed in eight points for the winners.

Bonner & Prendergast 74, West Catholic 47 >> The Pandas (8-3) rushed out to a 27-12 advantage in the first quarter and totaled their second-highest scoring output of the season. Nyah Garrison showed the way with a game-high 23 points and Maeve McCann dumped in 11 for Prendie, which made 12 3-point field goals.

In the Bicentennial League:

Sacred Heart 50, Calvary Baptist 17 >> The Lions got back on the winning track following a two-game losing streak. Kyra Quigley posted a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds, tallying 11 points in the first half.

Sammy Smith and Eileen Piombino scored eight apiece for Sacred Heart, which outscored the host team, 17-0, in the first quarter.
