Hynd reasches 100-point mark in Conestoga’s win over O’Hara

Carly Hynd recorded the 100th point of her career with an assist on Kate Galica’s goal to lead Conestoga to a 2-0 victory over Cardinal O’Hara.

Chloe Ziegler scored the first goal for the Pioneers, while the defense did not surrender a shot on goal to allow Katie Clemson to record her 11th shutout of the season.

Gianna Travia made three saves in goal for the Lions.

Rustin 4, Strath Haven 3 >> The Golden Knights scored three of the last four goals including the winner in overtime.

Milly Pelligrini, Kaitlin Nieczpiel and Sophie Green scored for the Panthers. Green’s goal sent the game into overtime. Sarah McAndrews had an assist.

C.B. East 4, Archbishop Carroll 1 >> East, one of the top Class 3A teams in District 1, scored twice in each half.

Julia Kingsbury drilled home a pass from Carleigh Connors to get Carroll on the board in the second half. Goalie Grace DiMascio made 16 saves to keep it close.
