Phoenixville picks up first win of season, tops Quakertown

PHOENIXVILLE 12, QUAKERTOWN 4 >> Derek Bullottta scored five goals to lead host Phoenixville to a non-league victory over Quakertown Monday night at Washington Field. Ryan Oneil and Drew Lopolito added three goals apiece as the Phantoms earned their first victory of the season.

Danny Jackson had the other goal for Phoenixville. Owen Carney won 12 of 14 faceoffs, and Tim Bateman collected eight saves in goal for Phoenixville, which held a 6-1 halftime lead.

Kobe Davis picked up two goals for Quakertown while Frank Claus and Jacob Barndt chipped in with one apiece. Panthers goalie Chris Brady played an outstanding game with 19 saves.
