Glen Mills had a lot of time to stew on a three-game losing streak. Kenyon Cooper and company did something about it Tuesday.
Cooper scored 18 points, and Myron Sanders added 15 as Glen Mills topped Unionville, 63-49, in its first game in 15 days.
James Timmons added 11 points, and Wanya Smith provided a spark off the bench with nine points and 10 rebounds for the Bulls (3-3).
In other nonleague action:
Haverford School 60, Girard College 49 >> Kharon Randolph scored 16 points, and Jameer Nelson Jr. and Christian Ray added 15 apiece as the Fords wrapped up their nonleague slate with a 10-1 mark.
Ray added 10 rebounds, and Gavin Burke scored 10 points.
Chester 72, West Chester Rustin 68 >> Jamar Sudan scored 22 points, keying a 13-0 run in the fourth quarter to erase a deficit.
Ahrod Carter added 19 points, and Jordan Camper supplied 10 for Chester (6-2).
In the Catholic League:
Bonner & Prendergast 69, Conwell-Egan 52 >> The Friars celebrated their first home game of the season with characteristic balance. Justin Gans scored 17 points, Tymir Cooper added 16, and Dylan Higgins provided 14.
Christian Lane rounded out the double-figures quartet with 10 points for Bonner (9-0, 1-0).
Neumann-Goretti 83, Archbishop Carroll 71 >> Justin Anderson scored 22 points, Khari Williams added 14 and A.J. Hoggard was near a double-double with nine points and 10 assists, but the Patriots (9-2, 0-1) fell in South Philly.
Villanova commit Dhamir Cosby-Roundtree led Neumann with 24 points.
In the Bicentennial League:
Plumstead Christian 72, Delco Christian 48 >> T.J. Tann scored 20 points, but the Knights (3-6, 1-4) were outscored 44-18 in the second half of a game that they led at the break.
Morrisville 46, Christian Academy 38 >> Jalen Sherrill scored 15 points and Luke Sareyka added 10, but the Crusaders (4-4, 2-2) fell behind late.
