Kendall Brown’s 2021 mound debut proved a stellar one, leading the Phantoms over the Warriors in Thursday’s PAC divisional crossover game.
Back from an injury, the senior threw a three-hit complete game with six strikeouts against five walks. She was also Phoenixville’s batting star, her 2-for-2 outing headed by a home run and triple along with two RBI.
Pottsgrove 4, Pope John Paul II 3
With all the scoring completed in the first two innings Thursday, the Falcons’ first-inning edge proved their margin of victory over the Golden Panthers.
Mikayla Eckman was a two-way star for Pottsgrove on the mound and at the plate, throwing a 10-strikeout complete game and driving in two runs. Alex DiCampello gave PJP a 2-for-4, one-RBI bat.

Pope John Paul II 5, Pottsgrove 3
PJP got three-hit outings from Gavin Feulner and Brendan Kenning to support winning pitcher Nik Rubendall in Thursday’s PAC Frontier Division win, with D.J. Clarke picking up the save off one frame of no-hit pitching.
The Falcons saw Steve Rinda’s 11-strikeout pitching go for naught.
Upper Merion 7, Pottstown 3
Brad Zielinski was a two-way standout for the Vikings as they outlasted the Trojans in PAC Frontier Division play Thursday.
Zielinski got the pitching win off 5-1/3 innings’ work — Brandon Colon went the final 1-2/3 to get the save — and he contributed a 3-for-3 bat. Oscar Brenes added a three-RBI outing while Pottstown’s Gabe Hicks went a team-best 3-for-4.
Perkiomen School 15, New Foundations 0
Carlos Quinones was a two-way star for the Panthers Thursday, pitching and hitting them past New Foundations in Penn Jersey Athletic Association play.
Quinones hurled three no-hit innings and backed his mound efforts with a 2-for-2, three-RBI plate showing. Tony Holden also went 2-for-2 and drove in three runs for Perkiomen (5-0 league, 8-10 overall).
Boys Lacrosse
Perkiomen Valley 10, Haverford High 9
Sam Nice netted a game-high six goals Thursday, leading the Vikings to victory over Haverford High in non-league play.
The Vikings built a 5-0 lead after the first quarter but an illegal stick and two more 2-minute locked in penalties along with some costly turnovers turned the tide in the Fords favor as the game was 5-4 at halftime. Jacob Klosinski helped keep PV on a winning pace with 12 saves in goal.

Blandin Conklin and Hunter Flack proved bright spots for the Indians as they ran away with Thursday’s PAC Frontier Division meet with the Vikings.
Conklin was a two-event winner, taking the 1,600 (4:46.93) and 800 (2:09.79), and Flack cleared the 15-foot mark in winning the pole vault. Joshua Tickner and Trai Mason had UM’s lone individual firsts in the 100 and 200, respectively.
