Bordonaro, Methacton girls soccer blank Pottsgrove

Maggie Bordonaro’s goal in the 39th minute was the difference in the Methacton girls soccer team’s 1-0 win over Pottsgrove in a non-divisional Pioneer Athletic Conference matchup on Wednesday.

Bordonaro’s goal came off a feed from Lauren McNichol. Liz Greene made seven saves in the shutout.

Boyertown 5, Upper Merion 0 >> Maddy Monka scored twice and added an assist to lead the Bears to a PAC divisional crossover win against the Vikings.
Mikayla Moyer added a goal and an assist while Hannah Mutter and Mattie Gallagher each scored once. Cassidy Landis and Mackenzie Fatzinger combined for two saves in the shutout.

Spring-Ford 0, Pope John Paul II 0 >> Neither team could gain an advantage during the Rams’ and Golden Panthers’ PAC divisional crossover matchup.

Perkiomen Valley 3, Phoenixville 0 >> The Vikings used a balance scoring attack and strong goal play in their non-divisional PAC win over the Phantoms.

Maggie Sell, Kelsey Marino and Allison Cappelli each scored for the Vikings, who moved to 3-3 overall on the year. Leslie Adams finished with six saves to preserve the shut-out for Perk Valley. For the Phantoms (3-3 overall), goalie Hannah Sands turned away 15 Vikings shots in the loss.

Perkiomen School 4, Delaware Valley Friends 0 >> Sasha Vasallo’s hat trick lifted Perkiomen School to a Tri-County win over Delaware Valley Friends.

Lacey Wheeler also scored in the contest to round out the scoring for Perkiomen.

Hill School 3, Ac. of Notre Dame 2 >> Bri Tyson converted a penalty kick to lift the Blues over Ac. of Notre Dame in their non-league game.

Bridget Mayza hit on a long shot to give the Hill an early lead, only to see ND pull even in the first half. Notre Dame went ahead early in the second half but the Blues rallied with Susanna Soderman’s game-tying goal and Tyson’s clincher
