Mercury boys lacrosse roundup: Owen J. Roberts downs Boyertown in OT

Owen J. Roberts 13, Boyertown 12 >> The Wildcats overcame another slow start force overtime with a four-goal final frame before Andrew Siana sent the host’s home happy with his overtime game-winner.

Austin Delgatto led OJR with four goals and two assists, Jack Colt had three goals and an assist while Joe Tordone had two goals and two assists.

Boyertown built a 7-2 lead after the first quarter. Jason Clinton starred with a six-goal night while Tanner Lee had four assists.

Both teams are headed to next week’s PAC Final Four, the Wildcats the No. 2 seed, the Bears No. 4.

Spring-Ford 12, Methacton 2 >> Jake Hvazda contributed on eight of the Rams’ goals in a PAC-10 rout of the Warriors.

Hvazda compiled two scores and six assists on the night, while Kevin Todd (assist), Danny Cassidy, Matt DellaCroce and Ryan Rosenblum (assist) each finished with a pair of goals. Ray Orcutt had a score and two assists while Chris Morgan made four saves in net.
