Hurd threw the last two innings of the five-inning affair, yielding just one walk while striking out three. She also drove in two runs off 2-for-4 hitting, complementing the three-RBI outings of Jordan Sell and Ashley Bangert (both 2-for-2) in staking PV to a 10-run lead in its first at-bat.
