Maggie Balint pitched her first perfect game of the year as Avon Grove routed Octorara, 10-0 in 4 1/2 innings in a Ches-Mont League softball contest Friday.
Balint struck out seven in five innings for the Red Devils (10-1).
Rachel Butler doubled and hit a solo homer and Morgan DeFeo was 4-for-4 with two RBIs.
