Highlights: Jess Fliszar led off the bottom of the eighth with a walk-off home run to give herself a pitching win and lift Spring-Ford over Boyertown in a battle of the Pioneer Athletic Conference’s top two teams. 

Fliszar’s homer capped a two-hit, two-RBI game at the plate while she out-dueled Bears’ ace Ella Hurter. Fliszar allowed two runs on five hits over eight innings. She struck out 11 and walked five.

Caitlin Ashley and Morgan Lester had two hits apiece for the Rams. 

Hurter gave up three runs on seven hits over seven innings, striking out nine. She had two hits. Kyra Neiswender homered for the Bears.
