Recap
Highlights: Victoria Butler tripled and then scored the winning run on a wild pitch in the seventh inning to allow Boyertown to squeak by Norristown in a battle of PAC Liberty first versus last place.
Norristown’s Ryan Morse gave the Bears all they could handle by allowing only three hits (8K, 2 BB) but the Boyertown duo of Kyra Neiswender and Ella Hurter came through with a combined one-hitter that carried the Bears. Neiswender went five innings and allowed one hit, one run and struck out nine. Hurter threw two hitless innings of relief, striking out five.
Camryn Holmes doubled and drove in the Eagles’ lone run.
