OJR scored three first-inning runs thanks to Jordan Sylvia’s three-run double. But Spring-Ford pitcher Bri Peck settled in and she and Samantha Lindsay kept OJR off the scoreboard the rest of the way. Spring-Ford got a run in the second but took control late, scoring in their last four at-bats, including a four-run fourth inning.
Julia Heine (3 RBI) and Jules Ryan (2 hits) both homered and Bridget Sharkey was 3-for-4 for Spring-Ford while Noelle Reid, Lindsay, Ashley Della Guardia had two hits each.
Morgan Twaddell was 2-for-3 for the Wildcats (4-4, 7-5, 8-8).
