Perkiomen Valley 14, Norristown 0 >> Katie Hurd threw a two-hitter, and the Viking bats banged out 10 hits — four of them for extra bases — as they dispatched the Eagles 4-1/2 innings into their PAC Liberty Division game.

Hurd was a picture of control, walking none and striking out four. At the plate, PV’s Ashley Bangert drove in two runs with help from a triple and double, Hurd (two RBI) also tripled and Sela Fusco had a double while Kara Fusco drove in another pair of runs.
