Boyertown downs CB South in non-leaguer

Boyertown 4, Central Bucks South 1 >> The Bears took the lead late in the game in a non-league victory over CB South on Wednesday. The game was tied at one with Boyertown batting in the bottom of the fifth when Taylor Garcia singled off of Kylie Kenney, driving in two runs.

Allison Melahn earned the win for Boyertown. She threw seven innings, allowing one run, two hits, striking out five, and walking one. Kenney took the loss for CB South. She pitched six innings, surrendering four runs, nine hits, striking out four, and walking one.
