Neshaminy Softball maintains control of Suburban One National League
BENSALEM – Ranked sixth in the area, the Neshaminy High softball team (11-2) remained all alone in first in the Suburban One National League with an 11-0 triumph over Bensalem Tuesday.
Amber Brugger spun a two-hitter and struck out eight. Neshaminy had the long ball working as Rebecca Dixon and Rachel Kohler both blasted three-runs shot. Leanna Jones also hit a solo home run.

Council Rock South comes back to beat North
NORTHAMPTON – Council Rock North was up 4-1 when CR South senior righthander Stephanie Andreoli gave way to freshman Danielle Walters.
Walters moved to the circle for the Golden Hawks with one out in the fourth inning and allowed just a lone run the rest of the way. Offensively, she came through with three hits and a pair of RBI. Senior Phylicia Wilkov and junior Makenna Diamond added two hits each.
CR South (10-5, 4-4 SOL) broke the game open in the sixth inning when the Hawks batted around.
Sabrina Crane had three hits for North (8-4 overall, 5-3 SOL) while Madison Tomlinson and Riley Sheehan added two each.

BRISTOL – Playing a rare doubleheader, Bristol put on another impressive hitting display to raise its glittering record to 14-0.
In game one, Cara Fabiano cranked up a two-hitter an struck out nine. She was also 4-for-4 at the plate wit a double. Kacie Pinelli also doubled and Tiana Brewington smacked a triple.
Game two featured a double and triple by Brewington in suippor of pitcher Haley Sweeney (two-hitter, three Ks). Pinelli and Fabiano also doubled.

FAIRLESS HILLS Alyssa Adams hurled a two-hitter and struck out seven for the will Jess Wilcox smacked three hits, and Devyn Savage and Adams both blasted two doubles. Conwell-Egan will play Little Flower Wednesday and then travel to Archbishop Wood Thursday. The Eagles (8-5) are currently one game behind Wood in the Philadelphia Catholic League standings.

BRISTOL TWP. – The Tigers gave it a good shot, but still fell to 2-9. Truman will host Bensalem today in a must-win game for the Owls in terms of making the playoffs.
