PAC Recap: Lindsay’s walk-off lifts Spring-Ford past PV: Morgan Lindsay leads Upper Perk past Pottsgrove

Spring-Ford 4, Perkiomen Valley 3 >> The Rams rallied from 3-0 down over the final three innings, plating the winning run in the seventh on pitcher Sam Lindsay’s walk-off hit.

Lindsay went the distance, spreading nine hits for two earned runs while striking out three. Megan Kern led the SF bats going 2-for-4 with an RBI while Jules Hughes also drove in a run.

For PV, Sela Fusco and Jessie Oltman were both 2-for-3. Pitcher Abby Wild gave up four runs (three earned) on six hits with five walks and five strikeouts in defeat.

Upper Perkiomen 4, Pottsgrove 3 >> Morgan Lindsay was 3-for-3 with a double and a home run while reaching base in all four of her plate appearances to fuel the Indians’ offense in support of pitcher Taylor Lindsay. Taylor Lindsay also homered and went the distance, allowing three runs (two earned) on five hits with eight strikeouts. Emily Moll and Olivia Young (double) also had two hits apiece as part of UP’s 11-hit offense.

Kira Livezey was 2-for-3 with an RBI for Pottsgrove.

Phoenixville 15, Pottstown 0 >> Aubrey Valenteen (four RBI) and winning pitcher Jess Eldridge (two RBI) both homered in the Phantoms’ three-inning mercy rule win.

Melissa Cappelli had a hit, scored three runs and knocked in two runs. Gianna Epps had a double for Pottstown’s lone hit.

Perkiomen School 6, Lower Moreland 5 >> The Panthers crossed two runs in the top of the eighth inning on their way to a non-conference win over Lower Moreland.

Lena Felix finished 4-for-4 with three doubles and three runs scored while Juliane Haussmann was 2-for-3 with three runs scored. Haussmann also pitched the complete game where she struck out seven.
