McKee powers Hill past Blair

Hill School 4, Blair Academy 0 >> Kylie McKee powered the Blues at the plate and on the rubber Saturday, underwriting a victory over Blair Academy.

McKee had a 2-for-2 day at the plate, singling in the third inning and posting a double in the sixth. She also handled Blair Academy’s lineup with ease, racking up 11 strikeouts while allowing just one earned run on six hits and four walks over seven innings.

Hill never trailed after scoring two runs in the first on an RBI triple by Alexa Giacche. Other great efforts at the plate came from Jamie Hogan, who had a solid day at the plate; and a textbook sacrifice bunt from Katie Sciales.
