Players to watch: Alivia Lopez, Jr., P/1B/C; Gianna Epps, So., Utility/P; Kat Kincade, So., SS/P.
Outlook: Small improvements are the key for the Trojans. Epps returns after a solid freshman season and will be used all over the field, especially at pitcher after starter Miranda Swinehart graduated. “We are a very young team with only a little experience,” McCrone said. “We have three new pitches that are working hard. We did well in our scrimmage against Academy Park, winning 16-9. The team has a positive attitude and the older girls help with the new players. We are looking to a successful and fun year.”
