Jenkins delivers in seventh to boost Ridley

Sophomore Leigh Ann Jenkins continues to deliver in big way for the Ridley softball team.

Jenkins’ two-RBI triple in the bottom of the seventh inning walked the Green Raiders off with a 3-2 triumph over Radnor in Central League action Monday.

Libby Alfieri and Larissa Locke scored the tying and winning runs, respectively.

Jenkins went the whole way from the circle, striking out 11 while allowing five hits.

Katie Jordan and Amanda Davis both smashed solo homers for Radnor. Brooke McClatchy was 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and Brooke Nicander scattered five hits over five strong innings in the circle.
