Spring-Ford 4, Methacton 1
Jess Fliszar hit a three-run home run and tossed a complete game victory from the pitching circle in a PAC Liberty win for Spring-Ford. Fliszar allowed one run on six hits, striking out two and walking two.
Riley Gancasz was 2-for-3 with an RBI and run scored for the Rams.
Mia Pettine hit a solo homer for Methacton, and Courtney Freese and Sadie Fitch teamed up to allow four runs on seven hits and six innings with five strikeouts.
Pottsgrove 3, Upper Merion 1
Lizzie McAllister had two hits and two RBI, while Mikayla Eckman struck out 11 batters and only allowed one run in a complete game victory for Pottsgrove.
Bailey Pysher was 1-for-4 with an RBI double for the Falcons.
Abby Volpe was 2-for-3 and knocked in the lone Upper Merion run.
Ava DiDonato pitched a strong game in the loss for the Vikings, striking out seven while allowing only two earned runs.
Girls’ Lacrosse
Spring-Ford 17, Perkiomen Valley 8
Megan Ruckman erupted for six goals in Spring-Ford’s last game before next week’s PAC playoffs, in which the Rams will be the No. 4 seed.
Hailey Mozi also seemed ready for the postseason with a four-goal, nine-draw control effort. Kristina Cirino and Gianna DiBattista chipped in two goals each for the Rams, and Riley Czapor, Lexi Sowers and Lindsay Evak all added one score apiece.
Ilyana Jones made eight saves in goal in the winning effort.
Leah Pfeiffer had five goals in a losing effort for Perk Valley, while Grace Schaffner produced a multi-goal effort as well with two.
Lindsay Farrington also scored for the Vikings, and Charlotte Foster made 14 saves in goal.
Phoenixville 17, Pottsgrove 0
Phoenixville pitched a shutout in a dominant tune up heading into the PAC playoffs next week, where the Phantoms will be the No. 1 seed.
Maddie Miller made seven saves for Pottsgrove in the losing effort.
Baseball
Hun School 3, Hill School 0
Derek Boyd-Volz pitched well in a loss for Hill, allowing just one run and five hits over six innings along with four walks and three strikeouts.
Chase McCusker had the lone hit on the day for the Blues.
