Sara Edwards found the back of the net twice in a 4-1 win for top-seeded Upper Perkiomen over No. 9 Marple-Newtown. The Indians will host No. 4 Gwynedd Mercy Tuesday at 6 p.m.

Edwards’ first goal came in the ninth minute off a feed from Kyra Lesko and the other on a breakaway one minute before halftime with Megan Cairns on the assist. Cairns also assisted Sarah Straup in the 23rd minute before Shauna Kerrigan put Marple Newtown on the board with an unassisted goal in the 29th minute.

Sarah Fisher capped off the scoring in the 74th minute with Edwards on the assist. Upper Perkiomen held a 9-7 shot advantage and Ava Long made six saves in net for the Indians. Mariana Castillo came up with five saves for Marple Newtown.
