Chelsey Vondran had a birthday to remember Monday.

Vondran scored twice in the first half, and her Upper Darby teammates held fast to that lead to book a 2-0 nonleague over Pottstown, the program’s first win since 2013.

Ashley Gura made the effort stand up with four saves in goals. She was aided by an outstanding day by the back four of JP Gallagher, Sarah Jordan, Erika Zarate and Ally Simonson to preserve the shutout.

Pottstown keeper Alaina James had five saves in net.
