Highlights: Kaitlyn Dougherty’s first game as the Vikings’ head coach was one to remember. Taking a 2-2 stalemate with Haverford into double overtime, Gia Marciano scored the game-winning goal six minutes into the period to give Perkiomen Valley its first win of the season, and Dougherty her first win at the helm of the program.

Marciano first put Perkiomen Valley on the board on a feed from Matilda Fisher before assisting Ashley Pickles with another to go up 2-0 in the first half. Kendall Gillespie responded with an unassisted goal off a corner to cut the game, 2-1 heading into the break. Gillespie knotted the game with another unassisted shot on a corner to force overtime.

Olivia Hulayew registered 10 saves between the pipes for the Vikings, while Bella Budzyn (five saves) and Jordan Karp (four saves) minded the net for the Fords.
