Merion Mercy Academy (1-7, 0-4) defeated visiting Interboro, 3-0, Wednesday. Sophomore Leah McCray led the way with her first shutout of the season with 5 saves. Merion’s Junior Michaela Coopinger started off the scoring just six minutes into the first half. She scored her second goal just three minutes later to give Merion at 2-0 lead. Junior Caila Olivio scored the third goal with 15 minutes left in the first half.
