Highlights: Mia Mileo scored the game-winner for Perkiomen Valley in overtime to take a 2-1 girls soccer victory over Methacton on Wednesday. Rain Boyd and Dorothy Chesshire set up the winning play at the 8:16 mark in the extra period.
After a scoreless first half, Rain Boyd delivered a low, hard-driven strike to put the Vikings up first with 30:46 to go in the second half. Just 36 seconds later, Katie Rozinsky tapped in the equalizer off a misclear.
Jules Sterchak recorded two saves for Perkiomen Valley. Riley McDonald (one save) and Mairi Smith (two saves) both worked the net for Perk Valley. Methacton was outshot 12-3 and the Vikings took eight corner kicks with none for the Warriors.
