Pottsgrove’s Avery Makoid opened the scoring late in the first half (38th minute) off a corner kick. Methacton’s Ruby Murray answered right back 1 minute later on a penalty kick, as freshman Aubrey Beaugard was taken down inside the box.

Murray scored her 2nd of the game 5 minutes into the second half, finishing off a shot from distance into the far post side netting, from an Aubrey Beaugard pass.

Methacton goalkeeper Mairi Smith and Pottsgrove keeper Corrine Hudock each made 4 saves.

Methacton led in shots at goal, 19-11.

Methacton is now 4-3-2 in the PAC.
