Salvucci’s goal, assist power Episcopal Academy

Anna Salvucci collected one goal and one assist to lift Episcopal Academy to a 3-1 Inter-Ac League win over Germantown Academy.

Anna Salvucci fed Hallie Moran’s goal for what proved to be the winner with 9:36 left in the first half and headed home a pass from Ali McHugh to give the Churchwomen a 3-0 cushion with 5:40 remaining in the half. Devon Whitaker tallied the first goal with an assist from Laila Payton.

Allie Bush made one save in goal for EA.

In the Catholic League:

Archbishop Ryan 5, Cardinal O’Hara 1 >> Zyianna Wilmer scored to get the Lions within 2-1 at halftime, but the Raiders scored three times in the second half to pull away. 

In the Central League:

Radnor 3, Garnet Valley 2 >> Olivia Shea, and Brigid and Paige Lowry scored one goal each to lift the Raiders over the Jaguars. Tina Rawa scored both goals for GV.
