Mercury-Area Roundup: Mesaros’ late goal lifts PJP over Pottsgrove

Colleen Morton had a nine-save shutout. Pottsgrove’s Erin Carroll had nine saves in the loss.
Boyertown 8, Norristown 0 >> The balanced Bears got scoring from seven players in a PAC Liberty win.
Adrianna Sheridan scored twice, Sierra Landes had a goal and two assists for Boyertown (3-2).
Also scoring was Kylie Webb, Erin Reitmeyer, Kaleigh Gallagher, Shana Kabinoff, Lauren Haley. Assists went to Abbie Houck, Aurora Conrad, Michelle Durante and Maggie Kiene.
Phoenixville 6, Upper Merion 0 >> The Phantoms got two goals from Gabrielle Perrotto and a goal and an assist from Dakota Graham in a PAC Frontier victory.
Leeza Galli and Sophia Kopko each scored solo tallies while Phoenixville’s sixth goal came on an own goal.
Upper Perkiomen 4, Pottstown 2 >> The Tribe netted three goals in a seven-minute span in the first half en route to the PAC win. Kenzie Gebhardt had two goals and an assist while Jessie Fisher set up both Gebhart’s goals and had a goal herself. Kaitlyn Mundy also scored for UP.
Bryonna Chimbinja scored both Pottstown goals in a three-minute span in the second half.
