Bonner-Prendergast blanked by Wood
Paris Banks and Kayla McLaughlin combined to make 21 saves, but it wasn’t enough as Bonner-Prendergast dropped a 3-0 girls soccer decision to Archbishop Wood in the annual Lacey Gallagher Classic Sunday afternoon at Cardinal O’Hara.
Banks made 12 saves and McLaughlin stopped nine shots for the Pandas. Kerry McMonagle and Sofia Filippo scored to give the Vikings a 2-0 lead at halftime. Caitlyn Cliggett closed out the scoring in the second half.

Lansdale Catholic 4, Cardinal O’Hara 0 >> Kerry Patterson had a busy day in goal for the Lions with 10 saves.
Sophomore Kate Hennessey continued her torrid scoring with two more goals. Maggie Wunder and Julia Friel also scored for the Crusaders.
In the other games, all of which were played at O’Hara: Archbishop Ryan defeated Archbishop Carroll, 1-0; Hallahan beat St. Hubert, 3-0; Neumann-Goretti blanked Bishop McDevitt, 4-0 and Little Flower shutout Conwell-Egan, 3-0.
