Keating’s rocket boosts Agnes Irwin

Hannah Keating made sure the Agnes Irwin girls soccer team continued its winning ways over rival Episcopal Academy.

Keating ripped a shot from 25 yards out in the first overtime Friday to lift the Owls to a 2-1 double-overtime triumph over the Churchwomen and extend Agnes Irwin’s winning streak over EA to five games.

Annie McConnon gave AIS (13-3, 10-2 Inter-Ac) a 1-0 lead, but Jessica Shanahan tied the game for Episcopal on a penalty kick in the second half.
