Interboro claims 10th straight Del Val League title
Hailey Fisher delivered the winning goal with 12 seconds to play as Interboro clinched the Del Val title with an 11-10 win over Chichester.
The Bucs won their 10th consecutive Del Val championship.
Fisher recorded five goals and an assist and Karleigh Kennedy added three goals and goalie Moriah Marr made 15 saves.
Alyssa Clausen posted five goals and an assist and Maura Murray added three goals and two assists for Chi.
In the Inter-Ac League:
Notre Dame 9, Penn Charter 8 >> Despite being a man down for 12 minutes, the Irish earned the win after Caroline Allen scored the go-ahead goal off the draw late in regulation.
Allen had three goals and an assist, while Kelly Coyle (two assists) and Julia Dambly each scored twice for the Irish. Jackie Lanzalotto made eight saves in net.
Agnes Irwin 20, SCHA 2 >> Powering an unstoppable Owls attack were Kristin Burnetta (three goals, five assists), Laura Pansini (four goals, four assists) and Lila Barker (four goals, three assists). Hailey Andress dominated in the cage with eight saves.
The Agnes Irwin defense of Kate White, Sarah Platt, Emma Macaione, Brynn Smith, Maria Pansini, and Meredith Murphy held SCHA scoreless in the second half.
In the Catholic League:
Bonner & Prendergast 19, Bishop McDevitt 10 >> Keely Weis netted four goals and Paige Brady registered two goals and six assists for the Pandas.
In nonleague play:
Twin Valley 11, Delco Christian 7 >> The Knights kept things close, but couldn’t catch the host Raiders. Breanna Richards recorded a hat trick and Allie Zubyk netted two goals for DC.
