Upper Moreland 52, Strath Haven 35: A big second half from Holly Gohl sent the fifth-seeded Golden Bears onto the second round of the District 1-5A playoffs. Gohl scored 12 of her team-high 18 points in the second half when Upper Moreland blitzed Strath 32-18 on its way to the win. Mikel Lancit also added 13 for the Golden Bears, which will visit No. 4 Gwynedd Mercy Academy in the second round on Tuesday.
Upper Dublin 53, CR South 48: The 19th-seeded Cardinals picked up the road District 1-6A win on Friday night behind 23 points from freshman Colleen Besachio. Megan Ngo added 13 for Upper Dublin. The Cardinals will visit No. 3 PW on Tuesday night in the second round.

Germantown Academy 70, Germantown Friends 62: Bryce Rollerson scored 15 points in the first quarter and never let up with a stunning 35-point performance for the Patriots on Friday. GA opened the game with a 26-13 run behind Rollerson’s efforts and held on for the win. Bryce Presley also added 11 for GA.
