Upper Dublin 51, Hatboro-Horsham 35 >> The Cardinals (16-6, 12-4) finished the regular season by getting a share of the SOL Liberty crown with the win on Thursday night, their first league title since 2002. PW defeated Wissahickon 63-48 to also get a share of the title. DJ Cerisier, Seaton Kukla and Colin O’Sullivan were all key contributors in the game for the Cards. O’Sullivan led Upper Dublin with 13 points.
Central Bucks West 46, Souderton 45 >> The Indians District 1-6A playoff hopes were not helped with a heartbreaking SOL Colonial loss on Thursday night to the Bucks (6-15, 5-11). Jay Bonnet led Souderton with 11 points, while Shaun Purvy, Carson Grant and Paul Vince all added 7 for Souderton (13-9, 7-9).
Girls Basketball
Plymouth Whitemarsh 56, Wissahickon 15 >> The Colonials finished their SOL Liberty season with a record of 16-0 for their third consecutive outright league title. Kaitlyn Flanagan, Abby Sharpe, Erin Daley, Jordyn Thomas and Lainey Allen have all been starters and major contributors for the three championships. On Thursday Sharpe led the way with 18 points, while Allen added 12 and Thomas scored 10 for PW (21-0).
Abington 62, Quakertown 42 >> The Ghosts (18-4, 13-2) picked up the SOL Liberty win on Friday night over the Panthers behind 15 points from Abril Bowser. Dani Brusha added 12 and Jaida Helm 10 for the Ghosts.
Upper Moreland 52, New Hope-Solebury 45 >> Reagan Chrencik scored her 1,000th point as the Golden Bears finished the regular season with a 17-5, 13-3 record and the SOL Freedom title.
Archbishop Wood 74, St. Hubert 40 >> The Vikings locked up the No. 3 seed in the PCL playoffs behind 19 points from Ryanne Allen and 13 more from Deja Evans. Allie Fleming also chipped in with 11 points for Wood.
