Reporter Girls Basketball Roundup: Souderton tops Pennridge for 8th straight win
Megan Walbrandt scored a game-high 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds as Souderton won its eighth straight game Tuesday, pulling away in the second half to beat Pennridge 50-34 in their Suburban One League Continental Conference matchup.
Megan O’Donnell chipped in 10 points and also made four steals for the Indians (9-1, 5-0 conference), who led by just two at halftime before outscoring the Rams 32-18 after the break.
Corrin Mart and Julia Kreider each scored eight points to pace Pennridge (7-5, 1-3), which lost its second straight.

Bean Hughes collected 10 of her 18 points in the first half for the Golden Bears (7-3, 2-2 conference). Grace Barraclough led Springfield (1-10, 0-5) with 12 points.
