PAC-10 Girls Basketball Roundup: Boyertown, Pottsgrove capture big wins

Boyertown 72, Pottstown 17 >> The Trojans were unable to counter the Bears’ overall strong play from start to finish of this PAC-10 contest.
Abby Kapp scored a game-high 17 points to lead Boyertown (11-1), which padded its 32-11 first-quarter lead with a 40-6 run the rest of the way. Ebony Reddick had five points to head Pottstown, which trailed its hosts by a 46-12 margin going into the second half.

Pottsgrove 53, Upper Perkiomen 17 >> Diana Randleman led a trio of double figure scorers to lead the Falcons past the Tribe in PAC-10 play.
Randleman scored a game-high 14 points, followed by Molly Galvin with 13 and Cori Dickinson with 10 as Pottsgrove jumped out to a 35-8 point at the half and never looked back. Gabi Marinelli had a game-high eight points for Upper Perk.
