Owen J. rallies past Upper Merion; Liberty Division emerges victorious

Owen J. Roberts 36, Upper Merion 34 >> The Wildcats came back from a five-point halftime deficit to overcome the Vikings in a cross-divisional matchup.

Camryn Glenn headed the Wildcats with a nine-point effort while Olivia LeClaire added eight points for an OJR team that did just enough in the final minutes to come out with the win.

Upper Merion’s Jordan Wilson led all scorers with 17 points.

In total, 11 Rams scored in Tuesday night’s win. Lauren Mensch, Lexie Nugent and Dez Engle each scored six points for Spring-Ford.

Pottsgrove was headed by a 10-point effort from Molly Galvin and nine points from Diana Randleman.

The pair scored 18 points apiece, with Kapp (20 rebounds) notching a double-double and Armstrong connecting on four 3-pointers. The Bears jumped out to a 35-20 lead by the half and out-scored their visitors all four quarters. Monica Rapchinski led PJP with 14 points.

Methacton 81, Upper Perkiomen 10 >> The Warriors were all over the Tribe en route to a divisional crossover win.

Ryan DeOrio led the way with a game-high 20 points, which included four 3-pointers while Sydney Thompson (five assists) backed her with 11 points. Sydney Tornetta and Nicole Cooper (five steaks) each added 10 points apiece as Methacton jumped out to a 46-5 lead by the half.

Valley Forge Baptist 58, West-Mont Christian 26 >> The Wings dropped a non-conference matchup with Valley Forge Baptist.
