Mueller celebrates birthday with double-double, Radnor win

Ellie Mueller celebrated her birthday in style.

Mueller paired 15 points with 10 rebounds and six steals as Radnor topped Penncrest, 41-24, in Central League action.

Brienne Williams scored 10 points, Holly Holtsberg added nine and Audrey Rosenblum had seven for the Raiders (5-1, 2-1 Central), who limited Penncrest to eight second-half points.

Kylie Chelo led Penncrest with nine points, and Annalee Doyle scored all six of hers from the line.

In the Catholic League:

Cardinal O’Hara 50, Lansdale Catholic 37 >> Kerry Patterson scored six of her nine points in the third quarter, fueling a 13-1 O’Hara run to notch a win away from home. Amaris Baker and Sydni Scott scored 12 points each for the Lions.

In nonleague action:

Sacred Heart 44, Academy Park 30 >> Kyra Quigley scored a game-high 18 points as eight Lions hit field goals and the defense limited AP to four first-half points, running out to a 30-4 lead. Kayleigh Doyle and Sami Smith added six points each for Sacred Heart.

Taylor Smith’s 13 points paced Academy Park.

Chester Charter School for the Arts 63, Bristol 30 >> D’Ayzha Atkinson scored 14 of her game-high 22 points in the second half to augment eight rebounds and four steals. Ceyrah Williams provided 16 points and 10 steals, and Logan Handy scored 17 points with seven rebounds and six assists for CCSA (4-1).

In the Inter-Ac League:

Germantown Academy 60, Notre Dame 41 >> Allie Lynch hit a pair of 3-pointers to tally 11 points, and Mandy McGurk added nine, but the Irish stumbled.
