HIGHLIGHTS: The Vikings defeated the Rams in Saturday’s non-league game.

PV’s Quinn Boettinger, a freshman, was leading scorer with 24 points. Senior Jen Beattie added 14 points for Perkiomen Valley and freshman Julia Smith contributed 10 points in the contest.

The Lady Vikings took an early lead in the game by outscoring Pennridge 22 to 8 in the first quarter. The Lady Rams came right back in the second quarter to outscore Perkiomen Valley 16 to 5, ending the half with Perkiomen Valley in the lead by 27 to 24.

The second half showed the Lady Vikings with 34 points to the 29 points posted by Pennridge which continued to be an obstinate opponent.
