Pope John Paul II 62, Mount St. Joseph 52 >> The Golden Panthers nullified MSJ’s fast start with strong play from the second quarter on, scoring the victory in the opening round of the Snear Tournament.

Gabby Troisi had 19 points to lead PJP, which trailed the Mount by a 22-16 count after one quarter. The Panthers got another 10 points from Rachel Yerger as they took a 30-27 lead at the half, expanding it to 49-39 heading into the fourth quarter.
