Boyertown 50, Owen J. Roberts 42 >> On the same night it recognized its 2016 PIAA 6A championship team, Boyertown got its first win of the season.
The Bears were sparked by Julia Smith’s 16 points, all of which came in the second half as they rallied from down 23-20 at halftime thanks in part to an eight-point advantage in the third quarter (13-5). Kylie Webb and Amber Marburger added 10 and 9 points, respectively.
