SIX PAC: Mercury Area Football Power Rankings
Six PAC
Weekly Power Rankings
1. Perkiomen Valley (5-0)
Sean Owens will be leaned on heavily with Justin Jaworski out. The senior receiver hauled in four passes for 75 yards and three touchdowns last week.
2. Spring-Ford (4-1)
Hard to consider Spring-Ford “No. 2.” They should be 1-B. Rams are legit and their defense continues to shine.
3. Pottsgrove (3-2)
Falcons look poised to run the Frontier Division after 35-0 win over Upper Merion. Running back Rahsul Faison finished with 100 yards rushing and now sits No.2 in the PAC rushing yards.
4. Upper Perkiomen (2-3)
Indians stronger than 2-3 record indicates. Defense is suspect, allowing 178 points (worst in the Frontier) but offense leads Frontier Division with 166 points. Telling week for Upper Perk with trip to Upper Merion in Week 6.
5. Phoenixville (2-3)
Phantoms nearly came back in Week 5 loss to Upper Perk. Matt Garcia is a dominant back with Nasir Green emerging as a playmaker.
6. Pope John Paul II (2-3)
How far will the ride go for PJP? Week 6’s contest against Phoenixville will determine if Golden Panthers’ recent success is just a flash in the pan.
Next in line: Boyertown.
