Boyertown at Perkiomen Valley

Playoff Rankings: Boyertown is 29th in District 1-6A. Perkiomen Valley is 10th in 1-6A.
Last Week: Boyertown lost its sixth straight, falling to Spring-Ford 66-31 last Friday. Perk Valley topped Methacton 18-9 last Friday for a fifth win in a row.
Last Meeting: Perk Valley bested the Bears 46-20 in Week Six last season.
Players to Watch: Isaiah Domine paced PV last week with four receptions for 93 yards — 59 coming on a TD catch — and has 27 catches for 532 yards and 10 touchdowns on the year. Jamie Moccia leads Boyertown in rushing with 560 yards and eight TDs on 92 carries.
Prediction: Perk Valley 42, Boyertown 20.

Central Bucks West at North Penn
Time/Place: 7 p.m. Friday, Crawford Stadium, North Penn HS.

Last Week: The Bucks dropped their second straight last Saturday, falling to Central Bucks East 27-20. North Penn trailed 17-0 in the second quarter before rallying to edge Souderton 29-27 last Friday.
Last Meeting: North Penn handed West is first loss last season, the Knights winning the Week Four matchup 28-14.
Players to Watch: CB West’s Garrett Hitchens ran for 107 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries last week against CB East. Shamar Edwards leads North Penn in rushing with 782 yards and eight TDs on 99 carries.
Prediction: North Penn 31, Central Bucks West 17.

Council Rock North at Souderton
Time/Place: 7 p.m., Souderton Area HS.

Last Week: CR North lost to Abington 24-8 last Friday for its fifth straight defeat. Souderton has its three-game win streak snapped Friday as Big Red lost to North Penn 29-27.
Last Meeting: The last clash of Indians came in 2007 with Souderton claiming a 41-10 win.
Players to Watch: Jonathan Kane leads CR North on the ground with 206 yards and five touchdowns on 45 carries. Souderton QB Andrew Vince threw for a season-high 216 yards and two TDs on 10-of-16 passing against North Penn last week.
Prediction: Souderton 26, Council Rock North 20.

Plymouth Whitemarsh at Quakertown

Pope John Paul II at Pottstown

Records: Pope John Paul II is 6-1 (2-1 PAC Frontier). Pottstown is 4-3 (1-2 PAC Frontier).
Playoff Rankings: Pope John Paul II is second in District 1/12-3A. Pottstown is second in District 1-4A.
Last Week: PJP II bounced back from its first loss by defeating Phoenixville 28-12 last Saturday. Pottstown lost to Upper Merion 26-13 last Friday.
Last Meeting: The Golden Panthers won last season’s Week Five contest 38-13.
Players to Watch: PJP II quarterback Kamal Grady has thrown for 1,409 yards and 20 touchdowns this season. Pottstown QB Josiah Wiggins is the Trojans’ top rusher with 645 yards and 10 TDs on 106 carries.
Prediction: Pope John Paul II 27, Pottstown 10.

Pottsgrove at Upper Merion
Time/Place: 7 p.m. Friday, Upper Merion HS.
Records: Upper Merion is 5-2 (3-0 PAC Frontier). Pottsgrove is 7-0 (3-0 PAC Frontier).
Playoff Rankings: Upper Merion is eighth in District 1-5A. Pottsgrove is first in 1-4A.
Last Week: Upper Merion made it three wins in a row last Friday with a 26-13 victory over Pottstown. Pottsgrove routed Upper Perkiomen 51-0 for its third shutout of the season last Friday.
Last Meeting: The Falcons rolled past UM 49-0 in Week Five last season.
Players to Watch: The Vikings’ Michael Zelli ran for 104 yards and a touchdown — scoring from 15 yards out — on 21 carries in the win over Pottstown last week. Pottsgrove QB Jay Sisko threw four TD passes and finishing 7-for-12 passing for 200 yards last week against Upper Perk.
Prediction: Pottsgrove 28, Upper Merion 14.

Spring-Ford at Owen J. Roberts
Time/Place: 7 p.m. Friday, Wildcat Stadium, Owen J. Roberts HS.
Records: Spring-Ford is 6-1 (3-0 PAC Liberty). Owen J. Roberts is 5-2 (2-1 PAC Liberty).
Playoff Rankings: Spring-Ford is seventh in District 1-6A. Owen J. Roberts is 12th in 1-6A.
Last Week: Spring-Ford rolled to a fourth-consecutive win, besting Boyertown 66-31 last Friday. OJR earned a second straight win, topping Norristown 25-12 last Friday.
Last Meeting: Owen J. Roberts shut out the Rams 33-0 in Week Nine last season.
Players to Watch: Spring-Ford QB Ryan Engro finished with 358 yards and six TDs in last week’s win over Boyertown. Engro has thrown for 1,546 yards and 20 TDs on the season. OJR’s Marcus Martin now has 878 yards and seven TDs rushing in 2018 after collecting 185 yards on 16 carries against Norristown last week.
Prediction: Spring-Ford 35, Owen J. Roberts 25.

William Tennent at Pennridge
Time/Place: 7 p.m. Friday, Helman Field, Pennridge HS.

Playoff Rankings: William Tennent is 28th in District 1-6A. Pennridge is tied for 18th in 1-6A.
Last Week: Pennridge won its second straight, scoring 21 points in the fourth quarter to rally past Central Bucks South 21-7 last Friday. William Tennent was shutout by Neshaminy 33-0 last Friday for the Panthers fifth straight loss.
Last Meeting: The Rams topped Tennent 35-26 in Week Eight last season.
Players to Watch: Rams QB Zak Kantor threw for 205 yards and two TDs and also ran for a 55-yard touchdown in the CB South win last week. Dan Goodz leads William Tennent in receiving with 226 yards and three TDs on 12 catches.
Prediction: Pennridge 28, William Tennent 16.

Wissahickon at Upper Dublin
Time/Place: 7 p.m. Friday, Cardinal Stadium, Upper Dublin HS.
Records: Wissahickon is 0-7 (0-4 SOL American). Upper Dublin is 5-1 (3-0 SOL American).
Playoff Rankings: Wissahickon is 25th in District 1-5A. Upper Dublin is second in 1-5A.
Last Week: Wissahickon fell to Upper Moreland 25-15 last Friday. The Cardinals edged Quakertown 14-13 last Friday for a second consecutive victory.
Last Meeting: Upper Dublin trounced the Trojans 42-7 in Week Six last season.
Players to Watch: Wissahickon QB Nick Santo threw for 159 yards and a touchdown — a 66-yarder to Maurice Willis — last week against Upper Moreland. Upper Dublin took the lead for good last week against Quakertown on Lucas Roselli’s 10-yard touchdown catch in the fourth quarter. Roselli finished with four receptions for 107 yards.
Prediction: Upper Dublin 41, Wissahickon 12.

La Salle at Archbishop Ryan
Time/Place: 1 p.m. Saturday, George Washington HS.
Records: La Salle is 2-4 (1-1 Philadelphia Catholic League Red Division). Archbishop Ryan is 6-1 (1-1 PCL Red).
Last Week: La Salle rolled past Father Judge 55-20 last Friday for its first PCL Red victory. Archbishop Ryan was handed its first loss last Saturday, falling to Archbishop Wood 27-7.
Last Meeting: La Salle rolled past Ryan 45-7 in Week Five last season.
Players to Watch: La Salle’s Manny Quiles ran for 101 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries in last week’s win over Judge. Quiles leads the Explorers in rushing with 406 yards and four TDs on 49 carries. Archbishop Ryan QB Jahlil Sanders has throw for 946 yards and 15 touchdowns and is also second on the Raiders in rushing with 427 yards and four TDs on 87 carries.
Prediction: La Salle 32, Archbishop Ryan 21.

Lansdale Catholic at Bishop McDevitt
Time/Place: 1 p.m. Saturday, Springfield-Montco HS.

Records: Lansdale Catholic is 2-4 (1-3 PCL Blue). Bishop McDevitt is 5-2 (3-1 PCL Blue).
Playoff Rankings: Lansdale Catholic is fifth in District 1/12-3A.
Last Week: Lansdale Catholic fell to Cardinal O’Hara 27-9 last Friday. Bishop McDevitt had its four-game winning streak snapped by West Catholic last Friday as the Burrs blanked the Lancers 41-0.
Last Meeting: LC earned a 49-27 over McDevitt in Week 10 last season.
Players to Watch: LC’s Danny Dutkiewicz is closing in on another 1,000-yard rushing season. The senior has so far compiled 819 yards and seven touchdowns on 145 carries. McDevitt is led on the ground by Jon-Luke Peaker, who has 851 yards and six TDs on 133 carries.
Prediction: Bishop McDevitt 24, Lansdale Catholic 17.

Methacton at Norristown
Time/Place: 1 p.m. Saturday, Norristown Area HS.
Records: Methacton is 1-6 (1-2 PAC Liberty). Norristown is 1-6 (0-3 PAC Liberty).
Playoff Rankings: Methacton is 26th in District 1-6A. Norristown is 27th in 1-6A.
Last Week: Methacton dropped its second straight, falling to Perkiomen Valley 18-9 last Friday. Norristown’s skid extended the four last Friday as the Eagles lost to Owen J. Roberts 25-12.
Last Meeting: Norristown shut out the Warriors 35-0 in Week Seven last season.
Players to Watch: Larry Dickinson scored Methacton’s lone touchdown last week against Perk Valley on a 25-yard reception. For the season, Dickerson has nine catches for 137 yards and three TDs. Norristown QB Daniel Watson has 126 passing yards and also ran for a one-yard run last week against Owen J. Roberts. Watson has thrown for 769 yards this season.
Prediction: Methacton 16, Norristown 14.

Haverford School at Germantown Academy
Time/Place: 2 p.m. Saturday, Carey Stadium, Germantown Academy.
Records: Haverford School is 2-2 (0-0 Inter-Ac League). Germantown Academy is 5-0 (0-0 Inter-Ac).
Last Week: Both teams had a bye.
Last Meeting: GA bested the Fords 28-14 in Week Eight last season.
Players to Watch: Daiyaan Hawkins is Haverford School’s top rusher on the season with 164 yards and a score on 29 carries. Jerry Griffen-Batchler leads GA in receiving with 18 catches for 289 yards and four touchdowns.
Prediction: Germantown Academy 27, Haverford School 17.
