OTD in 2012: Coatesville blows by WC East
As we continue to look back at the 2012 Coatesville football season, week seven took the Red Raiders to West Chester East.
After their first back-to-back wins of the season, the Raiders continued their ascension with a 35-0 blanking of the Vikings.
Coatesville only ran 42 offensive plays, but chalked up 313 yards. Junior running back, Daquan Worley, picked up his first career 100-yard game with 103 yards and two scores.
Emmett Hunt completed seven passes for 137 yards, three going for touchdowns. Chris Jones got behind the defense for a long TD reception and Dre Boggs scored on two of his four catches.
Coatesville’s defense held East’s quarterback, Jon Jon Roberts to 35 passing yards and minus-eight yards rushing. The Vikings totaled just 67 yards of offense and Coatesville’s Jay Stocker had an interception.
The Raiders would continue their West Chester tour with a trip to Henderson in week eight.
