Methacton 3, Owen J. Roberts 1 >> As far as she’s concerned, her team is rolling right on cue.

Sophomore Emily Owens registered all three of the Warriors’ goals as they earned the No. 5 seed in a 3-1 defeat of PAC-10 foe Owen J. Roberts in the District 1-AAA playbacks Friday afternoon at North Penn High School.

“It was a really good team effort,” she said. “Our passes were connecting and we were meshing really well.

“The team is peaking at the right time,” she added. “I think we can make some waves at states.”

Owens scored with assists from Jackie Cerchio and Olivia Hoover while Sarah Park made 10 saves in the cage. Gabby Owens notched a defensive save.

Both teams were even in corners (7-7) while Owen J. Roberts outshot Methacton 11-7.

Anna Dempsey registered OJR’s lone goal in the second half with an assist from Maddie Schaeffer. Amanda Lamb made four saves.
